The Relatable Voice Magazine - December 2025. Cover - Cristina Matta

Dear Reader,

February has arrived—a month that invites reflection, connection, and celebration. Often associated with love in all its forms, this beautiful season encourages us to pause and appreciate the people, passions, and stories that enrich our lives. We are thrilled to welcome you to Edition 42 of The Relatable Voice magazine, a space filled with creativity, inspiration, and meaningful storytelling.

In this issue, we are delighted to feature the multitalented Melissa Morelli Lacroix, a Canadian author, educator, and accomplished pianist who has been a cherished member of the RV community since last year. Melissa’s dedication to the arts and education embodies the spirit of creativity and growth we love to celebrate.

Reflecting February’s theme, several contributors explore the many facets of love and human connection. Doug Lawrence offers thoughtful insight into nurturing meaningful relationships, while Pat Backley shares reflections on love. We are also excited to welcome Gary Smith and Verlin Darrow as our new columnists, bringing fresh perspectives to our pages.

We also shine a light on inspiring journeys and voices. Ann Abel, featured in The Resilient Women Series on The Relatable Voice Podcast, shares her powerful story of perseverance. Jeremiah Gilbert invites readers on a visual journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Brunei. This edition also features conversations with authors Beth Pellino-Dudzic and S.E. Tschritter, who offer insight into their creative inspirations and writing journeys.

Thank you for being part of The Relatable Voice community. We hope this issue not only inspires you but also resonates with your heart, deepening your connection to the stories—and the people—around you.

Warm regards,

Lucia Matuonto
