The Relatable Voice Magazine - Special RV Book Fair 2026

Dear Readers,

Welcome to a very special edition of The Relatable Voice Magazine, created in celebration of the 5th edition of The RV Book Fair!

There is something magical about bringing storytellers together. Five editions ago, The RV Book Fair began with a simple idea: to create a welcoming space where authors and creatives from around the world could meet, share their voices, and celebrate the stories that connect us. Today, I am incredibly happy to see how that idea has grown into a wonderful annual celebration of books, imagination, creativity, and community. 

And this year, we have so much to celebrate!

Throughout this special issue, you will meet an extraordinary group of authors, speakers, storytellers, and creatives. Their stories take us through fantasy and romance, healing and resilience, childhood and imagination, personal transformation, and the many unexpected places a writer's journey can lead.

Our Book Fair will also take us through ten panels, beginning with Creating Worlds: Where Words, Art, and Imagination Meet and continuing through conversations about audio and storytelling, living well, children's literature, romance, healing through writing, the power of story, fiction, and fantasy. 

I am especially delighted to welcome Steven Joseph and Andy Case to our cover. Their personalities, creativity, and wonderfully different approaches to storytelling capture exactly what The RV Book Fair is about: there is no single way to be a storyteller. Every voice brings something different to the table. 

As always, I am thrilled to share this adventure with my wonderful co-host, Pat Backley, and with everyone who has helped make this fifth edition possible.

To all our participating authors and speakers: thank you for trusting us with your stories. To our readers and viewers around the world: thank you for continuing to support books, authors, and independent creative voices.
