I wrote my first book, "I Am the Answer, My Pathway to Joy", after experiencing the devastating loss of my father, mother, brother, sister and best friend, all fordifferent reasons. Shortly after, I heard the Lord clearly say to me, "I am the Answer" and that I needed to share my grief story to encourage others who would alsowalk through it.
Tell us about your latest book or current work.
My latest book, "The 12 Days of Miracles" was written after my son, Tyler, was hospitalized in 2020, during Covid, with a brain tumor and we were not able to be in the hospital with him
What inspired your book, and what is the story behind it?
"The 12 Days of Miracles" was written after my son, Tyler, was hospitalized in 2020, during Covid, with a brain tumor. It begins when we were on vacation in SouthFlorida when he fell ill and shared what transpired during a 12 day period as we were not able to be in the hospital with him. It was excruciating not being able tobe there by his side but our family witnessed incredible miracles during that time. I felt led to write the book to share those miracles and encourage others goingthrough difficult times to be aware of the miracles happening around us every day.
How have your personal experiences shaped the stories you write?
Both of my books are written from my own personal experiences and share how God was right there beside me. I am able to take readers on a journey of pain, suffering and ultimately, how God is able to turn all things into good.
What do you hope readers will carry with them after finishing your book?
I truly hope they will be inspired to know that even when things look bleak, they can still have hope knowing that your personal experience can help others goingthrough similar situations.
What are your goals and aspirations moving forward?
