Dear readers,

Fifty issues! It is hard to believe that we have reached this wonderful milestone. What began as an extension of The Relatable Voice Podcast has grown into a magazine and a community of authors, artists, storytellers, and creatives from around the world. Month after month, without missing an issue, we have filled these pages with books, interviews, articles, travel, art, personal experiences, and, most importantly, stories.

Our 50th cover features T.K. Bush, whose journey from more than 20 years in healthcare to becoming a published novelist is a wonderful reminder that it is never too late to follow a dream. In our cover interview, T.K. talks about her debut novel, Unveiled, and explores love, trauma, identity, forgiveness, and resilience.

Resilience is actually a theme that runs naturally through much of this issue.

We are also excited to feature The RV Book Launch of Dr. Christine Silverstein’s Wrestling Through Adversity, a book focused on empowering children, teens, and young adults with tools to navigate challenges and build resilience. You’ll also find stories about writing through difficult times, starting new chapters, creativity, memories, and learning to move forward when life doesn’t go exactly as planned.

And since it is October, Vivien Schapera reminds us how quickly time passes in “BLINK! It’s October.” She takes us to Cincinnati’s spectacular BLINK celebration, where light, art, community, and the changing season come together—and asks a wonderful question: Which is your month?

We travel a little farther too, as I take you with me to Budapest, sharing a few favorite moments from my recent visit to this beautiful city.

I’m also very happy to announce that Catch the Story! Podcast is back! We are once again inviting storytellers to share their fiction and nonfiction through audio recordings. RV Community members can submit their stories, and selected recordings will be published on the podcast free of charge.

As I look at this 50th issue, I feel incredibly grateful. To everyone who has written for us, appeared on our covers, shared artwork, books, stories, and experiences, or simply opened our magazine and read our pages: thank you for being part of this journey.

Fifty issues later, I still believe in the idea that started it all: everyone has a story.

So, make yourself comfortable, turn the page, and enjoy our special 50th issue!

With love and gratitude,

Lucia Matuonto
